Evaluation, treatment and the support around it
Patients with rheumatological and immune-related problems often need more than a consultation. These are the elements DIRA brings together.

Each of these has its own page covering what it involves, who it helps and the questions patients ask most.

Arthritis Treatment
Living with arthritis can make simple everyday activities such as walking, climbing stairs, working, or even getting out of bed uncomfortable. At DIRA, we focus on helping patients understand their joint problems and receive personalised care based on their symptoms, condition, and overall health.

Autoimmune and rheumatic conditions can affect more than just your joints. Persistent joint pain, stiffness, swelling, fatigue, muscle discomfort, skin changes or unexplained inflammation may sometimes be linked to an underlying immune-system disorder.

Comprehensive evaluation for established, suspected and complex rheumatological or immune-related conditions.
Second Opinions
A fresh specialist assessment, where an existing diagnosis or treatment plan needs clarifying.
A second opinion can help answer questions that are difficult to resolve in a single consultation:
- Is this really autoimmune?
- Is the diagnosis correct?
- Do I need all these investigations?
- Is my treatment appropriate?
- What should happen next?
Clinical Immunology & Allergy Evaluation
Assessment of suspected immune-mediated and allergic conditions, with emphasis on identifying whether the immune system is actually responsible for the symptoms.
The aim is to avoid both missing a genuine disorder and over-investigating symptoms that have another explanation.
Rheumatology Care
Diagnosis and management of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases affecting joints, muscles, skin, spine, blood, nerves, lungs, kidneys and other organs.
Chronic Pain Management
Pain that continues for months or years can affect almost every aspect of life. The cause is assessed before the treatment is chosen.
We assess whether pain is:
- Inflammatory
- Mechanical
- Musculoskeletal
- Nerve-related
- Disease-associated
- Or due to a combination of factors
Treatment may combine medical management, physical rehabilitation, lifestyle measures and other appropriate interventions. The aim is not simply to reduce a pain score — it is to restore function.
Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation
For patients requiring structured rehabilitation, physiotherapy can be integrated with medical management.
